Gies Business Research Panel
Stay up to date on key research conducted at Gies. Alumni, business professionals, and community members are invited to join the Gies Business Research Panel. Panel members are periodically invited to participate in research on accounting, organizational management, or marketing. All studies are in accordance with the ethical procedures established by the university Institutional Review Board (IRB).
iDegree Online Pool
Students enrolled in iMBA, iMSM, and iMSA have the opportunity to join the iDegree Online Pool. There are over 7,000 students that participate in a research study through this pool each year. Students are granted extra credit in a participating course for the completion of a research study. Studies should be managerially relevant and appeal to a globally diverse audience.
Gies Student Extra Credit Research Participation
Students enrolled in participating Gies courses have the opportunity to earn extra credit by engaging in research studies. Participation provides an educational experience in business-related research topics. All studies are in accordance with the ethical procedures established by the university Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Become an Undergraduate Research Assistant
Undergraduate research assistants have a unique opportunity to learn more about the research process and actively contribute to Gies-led data collection and data analysis.

Gies Business Research Lab is seeking applications for Fall 2025-Spring 2026 GBRL undergraduate research assistants (2-3 positions available):
The GBRL RA's will administer research study sessions in Wohlers labs and train other research assistants to administer such sessions, assist researchers with credit granting for extra credit research participation, and assist GBRL Coordinator with other duties as needed. Applicants must be able to work and problem solve independently and have excellent attention to detail. Familiarity with Qualtrics and Sona is desired but not required. This is a paid position and is in-person. Afternoon and early evening availability is required. Maximum of 10 hours per week. MUST be an undergraduate student.
